NV Brut First launched in 1999, Cuvee No. 1 is undisputedly one of New Zealands best bottle-fermented bubblies.
A perfect balance between fruit and yeast, the wine was held on lees for two years allowing full autolysis displaying a tiny consistent bead, and firm mousse resulting in a complex, champagne-like character. A regular 5 Star wine, this 100% Chardonnay Methode, would sit comfortably with many French Champagnes of today.
