Big and possessing classical Bowen Estate richness, the 2017 rendition has a tight muscular structure. The palate is layered with inky blackcurrant, black cherry and liquorice flavours underpinned by toasty cedar and tobacco characters, black olives and spice. The firmly built tannins and bright acidity acting as place holders reigning in the fruit guaranteeing a long cellaring life. Dry finish with a compact muscular mouthfeel. Long inky black cherry, blackcurrant, liquorice, subtle cedary tobacco, black olive and spice aftertaste.
