Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine Cotes du Rhone is a concentrated, meaty, and focused red composed of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. According to the winery, the vines--planted around 1880 after the phylloxera epidemic- are the oldest still producing in the world. This wine is a stunning value; the nose and palate really deliver with bold-yet-balanced notes of cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, and earthy bramble.
