Taking selected parcels of the finest fruit from the 2016 harvest grown on Hawkes Bay’s Gimblett Gravels, our winemaker has blended together four key varieties (with Malbec and Syrah prominent) to make a Classic Red wine to fit the palate and price points of our retaurant customers. Mellow and fruit driven, the varieties integrate seamlessly as a testament to the art of blending and to Hawkes Bay’s reputation for producing fine red wine. With an alcohol level of just 13%, resulting from a cooler vintage, we are able to release this wine sooner than our bigger reds.
