Yes Australia can make high quality Chardonnay and Adelaide Hills is likely to be the best area in Oz for this variety. This is a really good value offering and is one that Mr. Scenic Cellars, Floris, is a real fan of. 
James Halliday MW agrees with Floris and so gave it 94 pts and said this about it ‘Skilled winemaking has left the wine bright and crisp ... white peach and grapefruit varietal flavours hold the floor.’ Whilst we agree with James on the bright, crisp peach and grapefruit we do think it offers a little more with creamy nut, soft barrel ferment notes and a long smooth finish.
