Wild Earth wouldn’t go amiss as a title for a Hollywood Blockbuster nor would owner Quinton Quider on the red carpet as the Californian native would feel right at home. As for the wine, Peter Bartle has pulled out all the fancy Hollywood tricks, from its perfect ripe handpicked grapes (thanks to a great growing season) to 12 months in oak with almost one third new. From its ripe red and dark fruits, through to plum and black liquorice, even supple herb and spice all bind together on lacy acid and firm ripe tannin. This has all the elements needed for a blockbuster and even a winner of a trophy or two!
