This wine is as brazen, uninhibited and ‘as in your face’ as seeing someone naked on rollerskates. Displaying deep purple tones with bold, concentrated cassis, berry, cocoa and spice aromas, this is before the wine grabs hold of the palate where the fat, sweet fruits laden with tannins go on the attack. It is followed by a second wave that comes in which is a little more forgiving with cocoa, liquorice and spice that rides the coat-tails of thos full throttle and full-bodied beauty.
