Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage Porto 2010 was produced by the traditional Porto method. The grapes were hand-picked when perfectly ripe and fermented in stainless steel tanks and lagars (shallow, open fermentation troughs) at controlled temperatures and at a certain point the fermentation was stopped by the addition of neutral wine spirit. The resulting wines were naturally sweet and rich, deeply coloured and full in body with great aromatic concentration. Red fruits unfold in the mouth and combine with the complexity of wood aging and a long finish.
