Portugese White Port is uncommon in Portugal, let alone NZ, but it's a delicious style nevertheless. A medium to medium-dry style, best drunk chilled. Lovely flavours of candied citrus peel, dried apricots and lemon marmalade.

For a great summer drink (Portonic) mix equal parts White Port and Tonic, a sprig of mint and a slice of lemon ... you'll be hooked.
