Effervescent Hawke's Bay winemaker, Tracy Haslam, has crafted a stunning Pinot Gris using fruit sourced from the Waihopai Valley in Marlborough. Pale straw in colour, with a hint of lime. Aromas of nectarine, pear and subtle spice. An unctuous, fruity mid palate, with a superb structure and well integrated, finishing with a fresh limey finish.

"The important role of texture in Pinot Gris is beautifully illustrated in this weighty, enticing wine. There is a creamy purity to the mouthfeel, against which the variety's signature pear and spice flavours put in strong appearances, along with dabs of stone fruit, ginger and lanolin. It is dry, but warm and generous with it. "Seamless," said Anna Flowerday.
