Redbreast is the only aged Pure Pot Stilled Irish whiskey currently on sale, made from a mix of malted and un-malted barley, aged in oloroso sherry and bourbon cask.

Whiskey Magazine’s Dave Broom scored it 9/10 and wrote:
Nose – Intense and full blooded. Pot still richness: citrus oils, hot sealing wax, leather, tobacco, tea, maraschino, overripe fruits, marzipan. Exemplary.
Palate – Ridiculously big. Oozes into the mouth and erupts. Spices galore to the finish. Oily and unctuous.
Finish – Long, rich, oily.
Comment – Whiskey covering the entire spectrum of aroma, taste, feel, flavour. World class.

A beautifully balanced pure pot still Irish Whiskey. In the view of many connoisseurs, the finest Irish whiskey available. Smooth flavours of spice, honey and gingernut and a great long oily finish with hints of vanilla and spice. Makes me want to get on a plane to Dublin immediately.
